Japan in Virtual Reality

Explore Japan and its culture at our 360 Virtual Reality booth!

Wanage (わなげ)

Also known as ring toss, Wanage is commonly played at summer festivals in Japan. At JCF, be prepared to capture kawaii (cute) rabbits with your throwing skills!

Shoot-Shoot (射的)

Shoot-Shoot, also known as Shateki (射的), allows players to bring home all the prizes that they shot. Be sure to put your marksmanship to the test at JAC’s rendition of this traditional game!

Omikuji Fishing

Omikuji (おみくじ) are fortune telling strips that can be found at shrines and temples in Japan. Fish out your fortune at our omikuji fishing booth!

Daruma Otoshi

Daruma Otoshi is a traditional Japanese game where players must knock out coloured blocks from bottom to top, without letting the pieces fall during the game. Come and experience JAC’s rendition, inspired the legend of the Tanabata, where you knock away obstacles to reunite with your star-crossed lover as Orihime/Hikoboshi.

Tanabata Photobooth

Tanabata is a festival that celebrates the meeting of Orihime and Hikoboshi. Write down your wishes, don a traditional Yukata and take a photo at our Tanabata-themed photobooth!
