We will be hosting a Study, Work, Travel in Japan Talk on 10 October 2018!

This talk will comprise of three different segments that will provide relevant and useful information to both JAC members as well as NTU students going for school exchanges, holiday or even seeking to work in Japanese companies.

STUDY SEGMENT

Presentation by two JAC members

For our study segment, we have cordially invited Yayoi and Isabelle, NTU students who have been on exchange to Japan during the summer. Having experienced college life in Japan, they will be giving some valuable insights about overseas school exchange.

WORK SEGMENT

Presentation by JAC Recruitment

JAC Recruitment Group network is recognised as the longest established international recruitment company group within the Asia region. Established in 1987, Singapore has become the headquarters (excluding Japan) of the Asia region and UK operations, presently covering 9 countries with 19 offices under the banner of JAC Recruitment Asia. JAC Recruitment Japan was established in 1988 and today, it is one of the most recognised recruitment companies in Japan.They will be providing more information about the proper etiquettes of Japanese corporate structures.

TRAVEL SEGMENT

Presentation by Hokkaido Government Representative Office

The Hokkaido Government Representative Office is established on 14 January 2016, the same year as Singapore’s 50th anniversary of national independence. Their main objectives comprise of attracting foreign tourists, expanding Hokkaido product exports and make them well-known, and to promote inbound investments to Hokkaido. They also aim to promote bidirectional economic exchanges between ASEAN countries and Hokkaido by sharing information on the needs of Singapore/ASEAN visitors, food culture, tourism and investment activities with Hokkaido. They will be coming down to divulge about traveling in various prefectures or parts of Japan for those planning their trip to visit unique places in Japan.
